My Contribution for the cause of FilipinaImages.Com
Posted by: mygoodfinds in The FilipinaI have been planning to write for my contribution to FilipinaImages.com in the past months but a current ‘project’ has kept me busy. I have to do it in parts since it’s pretty long. It’s also a 1st blog anniversary gift for our very own Sexymom( Dina Racoma) who deserves the best in life for being a supermom of seven and still be able to pursue her successful career then achieve her MBA to boot!
What does the term “sexy” mean to you? And I ask the same question to myself. The use of the term is relative. In this case, allow me to use it regardless of race.
As humans, I believe we are all sexy in nature thanks to the urge to procreate. It’s all part of the whole life cycle here on Earth. 99.9% of living organisms would somehow have to reproduce or they will be threatened to extinction. Without the ability to procreate, without regard to other external factors, any organism is bound to die out. With the ingenuity of some people, being “sexy” has changed a large part of the business landscape. Some have made a lot of money with products marketed with the fact that sex sells. In American prime time TV, 30 minutes of viewing will give you the urge of buying something to spackle and smear in the hope that it will make you as sexy as the actresses appear on the screen. Mascara for longer lashes, industrial strength lipstick that lasts a whole day, underwear worn with angel wings, not to mention tire commercials which try hard to make tires look sexy. read more

thanks, dear KK for posting this. kinda a wake up call, don’t you think? it’s really high time that we–I mean all FIlipinas belonging to all statures, be appreciated for what we are (our innate kindness of heart) and not only for our physical attributes, and that is online and offline (LOL). and thanks for the gesture, i am touched!
